Snow Day

Isis' school collected enough donations that they had a snow day. The school brought in some snow for the kids to play with today. Isis tried to make a snow angel but the snow was to cold, so no snow angel this time. Here are some pictures from today:

Michael watches his Eagles come up short

Well it has been almost two weeks since we went to the NFC Championship game, guess it's time for me to post the pictures. I told Michael that if his Eagles and Cardinals were in the NFC Championship Game, we would try to get tickets. As luck would have it, we were able to get some tickets. It was a great game and we had really good seats..

The Cardinals were up early on the Eagles. By halftime it looked like the Cardinals were going to blow out the Eagles. As you can see Michael was not to happy by halftime.

The Eagles decided to make a comeback and Michael was jumping up and down with excitement. But in the end the Cardinals pulled out the win and are now on their way to their first ever Superbowl. Needless to say Michael was not very happy. But he had a good time at the game. I think it will be an experience he will remember. Here are some more pictures from the game.

Isis' Birthday

Well we had a busy weekend. Saturday was Isis' birthday, so we had a lot planned. First off she wanted to have lunch at her favorite food place, McDonald's. She had to have her chicken and french fries. Here is a picture with Tiff at lunch:

After lunch we went back home for cake and to open presents. Since I had to work on my birthday, Isis and I had our cakes on the same day. We blew out our candles together. Here is a couple of shots of our cakes:

Isis had way to much fun opening her presents. I am not sure what she was more excited about, the toys or the clothes. She is definitely into clothes. She got barbies and my little ponies toys and some very cute clothes. She has worn her new clothes everyday. Here is some pictures of Isis and her opening gifts:

After cake and presents it was time to head up north. Isis wanted to go on the Polar Express train ride for her birthday. We drove up to Williams (close to Prescott and Flagstaff). We knew it would be cold but we were unsure if it would be snowing. Luckily it was.

We got on the train and got comfortable. We were at the back of our car, so we got to spread out a little. If you can't tell Mike likes to be a clown. We got some hot chocolate and they played the polar express book on tape over the speaker system.

Isis got a special treat, they called her up to the front of the train car and announced that it was her birthday. Everyone in the car sang happy birthday to her.

Then all the kids got a treat. Santa came through our car and gave all the kids a special Christmas bell.

Once the train ride was over the kids got to play in the snow for a little bit. It was late and very cold so they had limited time to play but they had a blast. Here are some pictures of Isis in the snow. Mike was too busy sneaking around and throwing snowballs. He didn't have time to take pictures.

Isis had a great day. I want to say thank you all for the gifts. Isis really enjoyed all of them.
